Magic™ Cell-free Protein Expression in E.coli Lysate kit is used for in vitro cell-free recombinant protein synthesis in a single reaction. This kit uses an efficient, coupled transcription/translation reaction to produce milligram quantities of soluble, functionally active protein in 3-6 hours. It contains optimized all necessary components for E.coli cell-free protein expression. The procedure can be performed in a single reaction tube and is easily scalable without the need for specialized equipment. With results available in a few hours, the kit saves valuable laboratory time and is ideal for high throughput technologies.

What are the advantages of cell-free membrane protein expression systems?
