Principal Scientist, NASH Research

Role Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced Principal Scientist to help further develop our NASH contract research business. The ideal candidate will lead NASH experiments and assist in laboratory management, NASH drug development, diagnostic biomarker development, and preclinical model development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a group of scientists to develop novel NASH drugs, diagnostic biomarkers, and preclinical models of NASH.
Assist in laboratory management, actively participate in discussions with team members, make suggestions and present findings to team members.
Interpret and analyze analytical data to communicate internally with the project team to design further experiments.
Keep up with new technologies and developments related to NASH research to promote research project development.

Basic Qualifications

Advanced degree in Pathology, Toxicology, Pharmacy, or related fields.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and perform multitasking across multiple projects.
3+ years of experience as a drug development scientist.
Knowledge and experience of animal models/PK/PD are preferred.
Excellent communication, summarizing, fast learning, and management skills.
