Description
This kit has been developed to isolate marginal zone B cells and follicular B cells from mouse spleen by two-step procedure. First, the non-B cells, the B-1 cells, and the transitional B cells are deleted to obtain a mixture of marginal zone B cells and follicular B cells. Further step isolates these two subsets by directly labeling CD23(high) follicular cells. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or cell-based experiments.
Applications
Cell Isolation
Application Notes
First step (negative selection): Unwanted cells are labeled with antibodies and deplete; Next step : two subsets cells are separated.
Comment
This kit is available for processing 2 x 10^9 cells.
Target
Step 1: Non-B cells, the B-1 cells, and the transitional B cells; Step 2: CD23+ cells.
Method Type
Negative selection; cell separation
