Short Description
Facilitate TRMT6 detection using this ready-to-deploy IHC solution, encompassing reagents from antigen retrieval to slide preparation.
Description
tRNA modifications regulate mRNA translation efficiency by maintaining reading frames. TRMT6 (tRNA methyltransferase 6), also known as GCD10 or TRM6, is a 497-amino acid protein localized to the nucleus. It exists as a heterodimer with TRM61 and catalyzes N(1)-methyladenine formation at position 58 in initiator methionyl-tRNA. TRMT6 is expressed in liver, brain, ovary, and testis and may be phosphorylated by ATM or ATR in response to DNA damage.
