As a long-term pioneer as well as market leader in the field of anti-drug antibody development, Creative Biolabs has successfully established and commercialized a wide spectrum of assays to illustrate the potential immunogenicity of biological drugs. Particularly, we offer unique ADA labeling service for worldwide customers.
Importance of ADA Labeling
Biological drugs often elicit unwanted immune response that produces non-neutralizing and/or neutralizing anti-drug antibodies (ADAs), which may impact drug pharmacokinetics, clinical efficacy, and patient safety. It is critical to evaluate the potential immunogenicity risk of biotherapeutics in producing neutralizing and non-neutralizing anti-drug antibodies. During the past years, numerous different assay formats have been used to detect and quantify ADAs, including ELISA, radioimmunoassay, surface plasmon resonance, and electrochemiluminescence-based technologies. In these assays, the drug is labeled with different labels as detection reagent, and any antidrug antibodies present in a sample will form a bridge between the two labeled molecules.
