Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers 1321N1-Tg(Human P2Y2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which P2Y2 receptor stably expressed in 1321N1 cells.
Description
1321N1-Tg(Human P2Y2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human P2Y2 (NM_002564). The P2Y2 receptor is a member of the P2Y family of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), which are activated by extracellular nucleotides such as ATP and UTP. This cell line can be used to study P2Y2 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;

Background
P2Y2 receptor belongs to the P2Y family of GPCRs, which are characterized by their activation by extracellular nucleotides. It has seven transmembrane domains and interacts with G proteins to initiate intracellular signaling upon ligand binding. P2Y2 receptors are widely expressed in various tissues and cell types throughout the body. They are found in epithelial cells, endothelial cells, immune cells, and neurons, among others. This widespread distribution allows P2Y2 receptors to regulate diverse physiological processes in different tissues.
