Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO dhfr--Tg(Human PrRP Receptor) Stable Cell Line which PrRP receptor stably expressed in CHO cells which lack the dhfr.
Description
CHO dhfr--Tg(Human PrRP Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human PrRP (BC095539). The PrRP receptor (GPR10) plays roles in neuroendocrine regulation, stress responses, and potentially feeding behavior. This cell line can be used to study PrRP receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.

Background
The PrRP receptor was initially identified and characterized as GPR10, a member of the Class A (rhodopsin-like) family of G protein-coupled receptors. It shares structural similarities with other GPCRs, consisting of seven transmembrane helices connected by intra- and extracellular loops. PrRP receptor (GPR10) consists of an extracellular N-terminus, seven transmembrane helices, and an intracellular C-terminus. This structure allows the receptor to interact with G proteins and initiate intracellular signaling pathways upon binding to its ligand, PrRP.
