Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Dog V2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which V2 receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Dog V2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor dog V2 (NM_001003177). V2 receptor plays a critical role in mediating the effects of vasopressin on water reabsorption in the kidney, thereby regulating water balance and urine concentration. This cell line can be used to study V2 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.
Applications
V2 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
The V2 receptor belongs to the GPCR family and is specifically classified as a vasopressin receptor subtype. V2 receptors are primarily found in the kidney, specifically in the cells of the renal collecting ducts. They are also present in the central nervous system (CNS), particularly in regions such as the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland (posterior pituitary).
