Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human AMY2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which AMY2 receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human AMY2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human AMY2 (NM_005854.2). The AM2 (ADMR) receptor plays a crucial role in mediating the physiological effects of adrenomedullin (ADM), impacting vascular function, renal physiology, and neuroendocrine regulation. This cell line can be used to study AMY2 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;

Background
The AM2 is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) belonging to the calcitonin receptor-like receptor (CLR) family. It consists of seven transmembrane helices that span the cell membrane. AM2 (ADMR) is activated by binding to adrenomedullin (ADM), a peptide hormone that regulates various physiological processes including vascular tone, fluid homeostasis, and hormonal regulation.
