Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human AMY3 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which AMY3 receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human AMY3 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human AMY3 (BC053852). Amylin receptors are multimeric complexes and have been closely associated with Calcitonin receptor (CT). This cell line can be used to study AMY3 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.

Background
Amylin receptors are multimeric complexes and have been closely associated with Calcitonin receptor (CT). CT, in the presence of the receptor activity modifying proteins (RAMP1, RAMP2 and RAMP3), forms pharmacologically distinct Amylin subtypes (AMY1, AMY2 and AMY3) which acts as a high affinity receptor for amylin, a hormone secrete by B cell of pancreas taht has a major role in glucose regulation.
