Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human β-Arrestin2//Human B Receptor CB1) Stable Cell Line which CB1 MUTANT B receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells which overexpress β-Arrestin2.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human β-Arrestin2//Human B Receptor CB1) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human CB1 receptor mutant B (NM_004313.3) and β-Arrestin2 gene. The CB1 receptor mutant B represents a variant of the CB1 receptor with specific genetic alterations that impact its function. This cell line can be used to study Cannabinoid receptor signaling and for developing targeted therapeutic strategies.

Background
The CB1 receptor (cannabinoid receptor type 1) is part of the endocannabinoid system and plays a key role in various physiological processes, including pain sensation, mood regulation, appetite control, and memory. Mutations in the CB1 receptor can alter its function, leading to differences in receptor binding, signal transduction, and physiological effects.
