Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human β-Arrestin2//Human GLP-1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which GLP-1 receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells which overexpress β-Arrestin2.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human β-Arrestin2//Human GLP-1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human GLP-1 (NM_004313.3) and β-Arrestin2 gene. The GLP-1 receptor is a key regulator of glucose metabolism and insulin secretion, with therapeutic implications for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus and obesity. This cell line can be used to study GLP-1 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
The GLP-1 receptor, also known as the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor, is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that plays a crucial role in glucose metabolism and insulin secretion. It is primarily known for its role in the regulation of blood glucose levels and is a target for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and obesity.
