Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human GPBA Receptor F96A) Stable Cell Line which GPBA Mutant F96A receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human GPBA Receptor F96A) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human GPBA receptor mutant F96A (NM_170699). The GPBA receptor responds to bile acids and plays a key role in various physiological processes such as metabolic regulation, energy homeostasis, and immune responses. The F96A mutation involves the substitution of phenylalanine (F) at position 96 with alanine (A). This cell line can be used to study receptor pharmacology, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
The GPBA (TGR5) receptor plays crucial roles in various physiological processes, including metabolic regulation and immune responses. The F96A mutation, involving the substitution of phenylalanine with alanine at position 96, can significantly impact the receptor's structure, ligand binding, and signaling functions. Research into this mutation can provide insights into its physiological and pathological consequences, potentially guiding therapeutic strategies for related disorders.
