Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human GPBA Receptor Y89H) Stable Cell Line which GPBA Mutant Y89H receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human GPBA Receptor Y89H) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human GPBA receptor mutant Y89H (NM_170699). The GPBA receptor responds to bile acids and plays a key role in various physiological processes such as metabolic regulation, energy homeostasis, and immune responses. The Y89H mutation involves the substitution of tyrosine (Y) at position 89 with histidine (H). This cell line can be used to study receptor pharmacology, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
The GPBA (TGR5) receptor plays crucial roles in various physiological processes, including metabolic regulation and immune responses. The Y89H mutation, involving the substitution of tyrosine with histidine at position 89, can significantly impact the receptor's structure, ligand binding, and signaling functions. Research into this mutation can provide insights into its physiological and pathological consequences, potentially guiding therapeutic strategies for related disorders.
