Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human GPR45 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which GPR45 receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human GPR45 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human GPR45 (NM_007227.3). GPR45 is a GPCR that remains relatively understudied compared to other members of its family. This cell line can be used to study GPR45 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
GPR45, also known as G-protein coupled receptor 45, is a relatively less studied member of the GPCR (G protein-coupled receptor) family. GPR45 was identified through genomic sequencing efforts aimed at cataloging GPCRs. It belongs to the Class A (rhodopsin-like) family of GPCRs, which are characterized by their seven-transmembrane domain structure. Its expression in various tissues suggests it may play roles in diverse biological processes, but further research is needed to fully elucidate its functions and potential implications for human health and disease.
