Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human beta3 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human beta3 (NM_000025.1). The β3 receptor is predominantly found in adipose tissue and plays important roles in regulating lipolysis (breakdown of fats) and thermogenesis. This cell line can be used to study receptor pharmacology, signaling pathways, and drug screening.

Background
The Beta-3 adrenergic receptor (β3-AR) is a subtype of beta-adrenergic receptors, which belong to the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family. These receptors respond primarily to the catecholamines epinephrine and norepinephrine. The β3-AR subtype is predominantly found in adipose tissue and plays important roles in regulating lipolysis (breakdown of fats) and thermogenesis.
