Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human DP1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which DP1 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human DP1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human DP1 (NM_000953). The DP1 receptor plays a significant role in mediating the effects of prostaglandin D2 (PGD2), a lipid mediator involved in inflammation and allergic responses. This cell line can be used to study DP1 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;

Background
The DP1 receptor was identified and classified as a member of the prostanoid receptor family, specifically as a receptor for prostaglandin D2 (PGD2). It belongs to the Class A (rhodopsin-like) family of G protein-coupled receptors, characterized by seven transmembrane domains. P1 receptor consists of an extracellular N-terminus, seven transmembrane helices connected by intra- and extracellular loops, and an intracellular C-terminus. This structural arrangement allows DP1 receptor to interact with G proteins and initiate intracellular signaling pathways upon binding to its ligand, PGD2.
