Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human FP Receptor) Stable Cell Line which FP receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human FP Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human FP (NM_000959). FP receptor is a prostaglandin F2 alpha receptor involved in mediating the effects of PGF2α in smooth muscle contraction, inflammation, reproductive functions, and other physiological processes. This cell line can be used to study FP receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.

Background
The FP receptor was identified and classified as the receptor for prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α), one of the prostanoid receptors within the Class A (rhodopsin-like) family of GPCRs. The FP receptor is expressed in various tissues and cells, including smooth muscle cells, endothelial cells, reproductive organs (such as the uterus and ovaries), and the eye (particularly in the ciliary body). Its expression levels can vary depending on the tissue and physiological context.
