Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human NK1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which NK1 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human NK1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human NK1 (NM_001058.2). NK1 receptor plays a significant role in substance P-mediated signaling pathways involved in pain transmission, inflammation, and emotional regulation. This cell line can be used to study NK1 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
The NK1 receptor is classified as a GPCR and specifically as a receptor for the neuropeptide substance P (SP), which is a member of the tachykinin family. NK1 receptors are widely distributed in the central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral tissues. In the CNS, they are found in regions such as the cortex, amygdala, hippocampus, hypothalamus, and spinal cord. They are also present in peripheral tissues, including the gastrointestinal tract and immune cells.
