Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human NMU1 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell which NMU1 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human NMU1 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell was engineered to express the receptor human NMU1 (NM_006056). This cell line can be used to study NMU1 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions. Dividing-arrest cells are cells that are normally kept under specific culture conditions or treated with agents that prevent cell division from being held in a non-dividing state. This can be achieved through methods such as serum starvation, chemical inhibitors of cell cycle progression, or genetic modification.

Background
NMUR1, or FM-3 or GPR66, is a receptor for the neuromedin U, a neuropeptide that has been implicated in physiological roles, including the regulation of feeding, anxiety, pain, blood flow, and smooth muscle contraction. The NMUR1 is abundantly expressed in peripheral tissues such as pancreas, testis and small intestine.
