Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human PAC1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which PAC1 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human PAC1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human PAC1 (NM_001118.3). PAC1 receptor is a versatile GPCR involved in regulating a wide range of physiological processes in both the central nervous system and peripheral tissues. This cell line can be used to study PAC1 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
The PAC1 receptor is widely distributed throughout the central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral tissues. In the CNS, it is found in regions such as the cortex, hippocampus, hypothalamus, and spinal cord. Peripherally, it is present in various organs including the heart, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, and immune cells. The PAC1 receptor binds to pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP), a neuropeptide involved in regulating diverse physiological processes such as neurotransmission, hormone secretion, immune responses, and cell survival. Activation of the PAC1 receptor by PACAP leads to the activation of adenylate cyclase and subsequent intracellular signaling pathways.
