Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Mouse Gαqi5//Mouse CCR9 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell which CCR9 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells which overexpress Gαqi5.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Mouse Gαqi5//Mouse CCR9 Receptor) Division-Arrested Cell was engineered to express the receptor mouse CCR9 (BC1321166) and Gαqi5 gene. This cell line can be used to study CCR9 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions. Dividing-arrest cells are cells that are normally kept under specific culture conditions or treated with agents that prevent cell division from being held in a non-dividing state. This can be achieved through methods such as serum starvation, chemical inhibitors of cell cycle progression, or genetic modification.

Background
CCR9 (C-C chemokine receptor type 9) is a thymus-specific receptor for chemokine CCL25 (SCYA25 or TECK). It is an alternative co-receptor with CD4 for HIV-1 infection. Activation of the receptor may lead to potent cFLIP(L)- independent resistance to cycloheximide-induced apoptosis and modest resistance to Fas-mediated apoptosis possibly via activation of multiple signaling components involving Akt and glycogen synthase kinase 3β. Thus, dissection of signalingcomponents involved in the CCR9-mediated antiapoptosis could be a framework for cell survival mechanisms and may provide options for therapeutic interventions.
