Description
The Elastica-Van Gieson kit is used to stain elastin, connective tissue, and collagen. Elastin fibers consist of elastin polymers and elastic microfibrils that form 3D networks in the extracellular matrix within connective tissues (skin, elastic cartilage, blood vessel walls, lung tissue, and vocal cords).
