Description
This kit has been developed to isolate IgM+ memory B cells from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) by depletion of unwanted cells and subsequent positive selection. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or cell-based experiments.
Applications
Cell Isolation
Application Notes
First step (negative selection): Unwanted cells are labeled with antibodies and deplete; Next step (positive selection): Desired cells are selected with Anti-IgM microbeads.
Comment
This kit is available for processing 2 x 10^9 cells.
Target
Step 1: Non-B cells which are labeled CD2, CD14, CD16, CD36, CD43, and CD235a (Glycophorin A); Step 2: IgM+ cells.
Method Type
Negative selection; positive selection
