Product Overview
Collagenase is a protease that cleaves the bond between a neutral amino acid (X) and glycine in the sequence Pro-X-Glyc-Pro, which is found with high frequency in collagen. Collagenase type III is lower in secondary proteolytic contaminant activity but has typical collagenase activity when compared to other collagenase types. It is suggested for mammary primary cell isolation.
