Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-Tg(Human CD19//Human BCMA)-Luc reporter cell line which the CD19 and BCMA gene stably expressed in Luc reporter CHO cells.
Description
CHO-Tg(Human CD19//Human BCMA)-Luc is a CHO (Chinese hamster ovary) cell line that has been genetically engineered to express a luciferase reporter gene under the control of the human CD19 and BCMA promoters. This cell line can be used to study the activity of drugs targeting CD19 and BCMA in the context of B cell malignancies such as leukemia and multiple myeloma.

Background
CD19 is a protein found on the surface of B cells, including malignant B cells in diseases like B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and some types of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. CAR T cell therapy targeting CD19 has shown remarkable success in treating these diseases, leading to deep and durable remissions in many patients.
BCMA, or B-cell maturation antigen, is another protein found on the surface of plasma cells, which are the malignant cells in multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. CAR T cell therapy targeting BCMA is currently being studied in clinical trials and has shown promising results in some patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
