Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-Tg(Human ICOSL) stable cell line which the ICOSL gene stably expressed in CHO cells.
Description
The CHO-Tg(Human ICOSL) stable cell line is a cell line derived from Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells that have been genetically engineered to express the human Inducible T-cell COStimulator Ligand (ICOSL) gene. ICOSL is a protein that plays a critical role in the regulation of immune responses by interacting with the Inducible T-cell COStimulator (ICOS) receptor on T cells. This cell line can be used in various applications, including cell-based assays, protein production, and drug screening.

Background
The ICOSL gene, also known as Inducible T-cell Costimulator ligand, is a gene that encodes a protein involved in regulating the immune response. ICOSL is a ligand for the ICOS protein, which is found on the surface of activated T cells. When ICOSL binds to ICOS, it promotes the activation and function of T cells, helping to stimulate immune responses. ICOSL is important for regulating immune responses to infections, tumors, and autoimmunity. Dysregulation of the ICOSL gene has been associated with various autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus. Research on the ICOSL gene and its protein could help in developing new therapies for modulating the immune response in autoimmune diseases and cancer.
