Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293-Tg(Human TIGIT) stable cell line which the TIGIT gene stably expressed in HEK293 cells.
Description
HEK293-Tg(Human TIGIT) stable cell line is a genetically modified human cell line that expresses the TIGIT protein. TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains) is a protein found on the surface of T cells that plays a role in regulating immune responses. This stable cell line can be used in research studies to investigate the function of TIGIT and its potential therapeutic applications in immune-related disorders.

Background
The TIGIT gene is a gene that encodes a protein known as T cell immunoreceptor with immunoglobulin and ITIM domains. TIGIT is a receptor expressed on the surface of T cells, particularly regulatory T cells, and plays a role in regulating immune responses. TIGIT interacts with its ligands CD155 and CD112, which are expressed on antigen-presenting cells and tumor cells, to modulate T cell activation and function. TIGIT has been implicated in immune tolerance, inhibiting T cell responses, and promoting immune evasion by tumor cells. Targeting TIGIT with therapeutics is being explored as a potential strategy for cancer therapy.
