Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Human M2a Macrophages for immunity reaserch.
Description
M2a macrophages are a subset of anti-inflammatory macrophages that play a role in tissue repair and wound healing. They are characterized by the expression of specific markers such as CD206 and IL-10, and are involved in resolving inflammation and promoting tissue remodeling. M2a macrophages are often induced in response to certain stimuli, such as IL-4 and IL-13, and are important for maintaining tissue homeostasis and resolving inflammatory responses.
Background
Macrophages are tissue-resident or infiltrated immune cells critical for innate immunity, normal tissue development, homeostasis, and repair of damaged tissue. Macrophages are classified into pro-inflammatory (M1), non-activated (M0) or anti-inflammatory (M2) subsets that play distinct roles in the initiation and resolution of inflammation.
