Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Jurkat-Tg(Human CD160)-NFAT Luc reporter cell line which the CD160 gene stably expressed in NFAT Luc reporter Jurkat cells.
Description
The Jurkat-Tg(Human CD160)-NFAT Luc reporter cell line is a cell line derived from Jurkat cells that has been engineered to stably express a luciferase reporter gene under the control of the NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T-cells) response element. Additionally, these cells also express the human CD160 protein, which is a cell surface receptor that can modulate T cell activation and function. This cell line can be used to study the activation of the NFAT signaling pathway in response to various stimuli, such as T cell receptor engagement or cytokine signaling.L30

Background
The CD160 gene encodes a cell surface glycoprotein that is part of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is also known as BY55 or Natural Killer Cell Receptor BY55. CD160 is primarily expressed on natural killer (NK) cells, as well as some T cells and subsets of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes. It is thought to play a role in immune regulation and activation, particularly in the context of NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity and cytokine production. Mutations or dysregulation of the CD160 gene have been associated with various immune-related diseases and conditions.
