Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Wistar Rat Bone Marrow Cells for phenotyping and characterizing stem cells.
Description
Wistar rat bone marrow cells refer to the bone marrow cells obtained from Wistar rats, which are a common strain of laboratory rat. These cells can be isolated from the bone marrow of rats for research purposes, such as studying blood cell development, immune responses, and bone marrow transplantation.
Species character
The Wistar rat is one of the two most routinely-used outbred albino rat strains in biomedical research. They are commonly used in many fields of research, including oncology, aging, pharmacology, toxicology, and metabolism/nutrition.
Background
BMCs have multiple utility for transplantation as they support stem and progenitor cells and may differentiate into a number of cell types. BMCs including MSCs and HSCs have a high potential for differentiation into liver cells.
