Short Decsription
Enhance EIF3A staining efficiency using this pre-assembled IHC kit, supplying components for a complete staining protocol.
Description
EIF3 Complex is the largest of the eIFs and consists of more than 10 nonidentical subunits. It is required for several steps in protein synthesis initiation, including recruitment of eIF-1, eIF-1A, eIF-2:GTP:methionyl-tRNAi, and eIF-5 to form the 43S preinitiation complex. The EIF3 complex also stimulates mRNA recruitment, scanning for AUG recognition, and prevents premature joining of ribosomal subunits. EIF3A, EIF3C, and EIF3I are important subunits of this complex.
