Short Decsription
Enhance GPD2 staining efficiency using this pre-assembled IHC kit, supplying components for a seamless protocol.
Description
GPD2, also known as mitochondrial glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, is involved in glycerol-3-phosphate metabolism. While it is typically localized to mitochondria in somatic cells, in capacitated spermatozoa, it is found in the acrosome and principal piece. This distinctive localization may suggest its involvement in sperm acrosome reaction and hyperactivation.
