Short Description
Obtain rapid HLA-G staining with this fully prepared IHC kit, providing components for a streamlined workflow.
Description
Human major histocompatibility complex (MHC) antigens, also known as human leukocyte antigens (HLA), are encoded by genes on the short arm of chromosome 6 (6p21.3). HLA-G is a non-classical MHC class I molecule with immunoregulatory properties, expressed mainly on extravillous trophoblasts at the maternal-fetal interface. It plays a role in immune tolerance, suppressing maternal immune responses against the fetus. Aberrant expression of HLA-G is linked to various neoplastic diseases, aiding tumor cells in evading immune surveillance.
