Short Decsription
Facilitate KRT16 staining with this ready-to-use IHC solution, streamlining procedures from antigen retrieval through slide preparation.
Description
Keratins are a large family of proteins forming the intermediate filament cytoskeleton of epithelial cells. Type I keratins, including K9-K23 and hair keratins Ha1-Ha8, are acidic, while Type II keratins (K1-K8 and Hb1-Hb6) are basic or neutral. Keratin 16, paired with keratin 6, is present in tissues like the nail bed, esophagus, tongue, and hair follicles.
