Description
Creative Biolabs' Sudan Black B Kit for Cytochemical Hematology Staining is used to stain neutrophil granules in blood and bone marrow smears. The results of staining of leukocytes with Sudan Black B dye were similar to those of myeloperoxidase activity. Lymphoid cells do not stain with Sudan Black B dye, while myeloid cells and monocytes show characteristic positivity. This is why Sudan Black B is used in the method to identify granulocytic and myelomonocytic leukemia.
