Structural Biology Service for NASH Target Discovery

Structural biology has played an important role in accelerating the drug discovery process for a number of disease treatments, especially for NASH. As a service provider in drug discovery and structure analysis, Creative Biolabs can offer a wide spectrum of services to reveal the potential bioactivity and mechanism of action of target candidates. We are proud to partner with our clients on the journey of bringing novel therapies and drugs to market.

The Structural Biology Platform

Structural biology consists of a panel of assays that are widely used for analyzing the mechanism of candidate molecules. Equipped with a wide variety of advanced techniques, we have successfully developed a well-established platform for observing the structure of the target molecules in 3D dimensions to further study the function and assembly, as well as the interaction with other molecules. The results can help researchers analyze the bioactivity of the test molecules and the related pathways which will be beneficial to elucidate the pathogenesis. As a consequence, these data have promoted new treatment strategies for various diseases. Currently, we have built a seamless structural analysis service for all types of target candidates, ranging from general imaging assays to special customized service. The services are made up of structural designing and drafting, structural analysis, as well as structural assessment for diseases.

The Methodology for Structural Biology

Creative Biolabs has met the need for thorough analysis of the target molecules for the NASH treatment since we established the platform of Target Discovery and Therapeutic Strategies. Our professional experts can analyze and modify the structural design of test compounds or molecules for continuous improvement. We have accumulated a range of experiences in analyzing the target molecules for NASH therapy. Besides, with our state-of-art technologies and software products, we can give valuable feedback on the data analysis of test molecules which will provide enough information for discovering new therapeutic strategies for NASH. In general, the assays that commonly used for structural analysis include, but not limited to:

  • Micro-crystallography assay
  • The supramolecular assembly
  • Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) assay
  • Single-wavelength anomalous dispersion SAD
  • Disulfide bond (DSB) analysis
  • Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) assay
  • Hydrogen-deuterium exchange (HDX) assay
  • High-throughput data collection assay
