Creative Biolabs is one of the well-recognized experts who are professional in applying our advanced in vitro diagnostic (IVD) antibody discovery platform for biomarker-specific antibody discovery. Here, we introduce our IVD antibody development services for Bacillus anthracis. We are confident that our commitment to science and research will enable us to offer you the best products and services.
Introduction of Bacillus Anthracis
Bacillus anthracis is the only obligate pathogen within the genus Bacillus and leads to anthrax. Bacillus anthracis is a gram-positive spore-forming rod with a length of 3-5 µm and a width of 1.0-1.2 µm. With the function to synthesize a protein capsule (poly-D-gamma-glutamic), Bacillus anthracis forms anthrax edema factor, along with anthrax lethal factor. Bacillus anthracis endospores are highly resilient and able to survive under extreme conditions. In the 19th century, anthrax was an infection that involved several very important medical developments. In general, Bacillus anthracis is commonly found in soil in low amounts. It always effects livestock and leads to anthrax and, occasionally, for humans. It is also rare for human-to-human infection.

Prevention and Treatment of Anthrax
There are a number of anthrax vaccines have been developed for the prevention of anthrax for livestock and humans. The anthrax vaccine adsorbed (AVA) enables the protection against both cutaneous and inhalation anthrax. However, this vaccine is only used for at-risk adults before exposure to anthrax. Moreover, there are three main antibiotics for the treatment of anthrax which are doxycycline, ciprofloxacin, and amoxicillin. The possible side effects of these drugs include stomach pain, headache, dizziness, nausea, mild diarrhea, life-threatening allergic reaction, blurred vision, and high blood pressure.
IVD antibodies are extensively used in immunodiagnostic tools for disease screening and therapeutic monitoring. Through our role as a leading antibody service provider, Creative Biolabs is well-positioned to develop novel high-quality antibodies for Bacillus anthracis. Besides antibody generation, Creative Biolabs also offers diagnostic immunoassay development services, including feasibility analysis, assay design, assay protocol establishment, assay optimization, and kit production.
Based on our advanced platform and extensive experience, we are confident in offering the best services and high-quality products to our clients. If you are interested in our services, please do not hesitate to contact us for more details.
