Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers 1321N1-Tg(Human P2Y1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which P2Y1 receptor stably expressed in 1321N1 cells.
Description
1321N1-Tg(Human P2Y1 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human P2Y1 (NM_002563). The P2Y1 receptor is a member of the P2Y family of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), which are activated by extracellular nucleotides such as ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and ADP (adenosine diphosphate). This cell line can be used to study P2Y1 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.

Background
The P2Y1 receptor was initially identified and cloned in the late 1990s. It belongs to the purinergic receptor family, which responds to extracellular nucleotides as signaling molecules. P2Y1 receptors are widely distributed throughout the body, found in various tissues including the central nervous system (CNS), cardiovascular system, smooth muscle cells, platelets, and other tissues involved in regulating physiological functions.
