Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human Gα16//Human GPR41 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which GPR41 receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells which overexpress Gα16.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human Gα16//Human GPR41 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human GPR41 (NM_005304) and Gα16 gene. GPR41 is a critical receptor involved in mediating the effects of SCFAs on energy metabolism, gut hormone secretion, immune modulation, and potentially neurological functions. This cell line can be used to study GPR41 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;

Background
The GPR41 receptor, also known as Free Fatty Acid Receptor 3 (FFAR3), is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that plays a significant role in sensing short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in the body. It is widely distributed in various tissues and organs, including the gastrointestinal tract, adipose tissue, and immune cells.
