Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human GPBA Receptor W237A) Stable Cell Line which GPBA Mutant W237A receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human GPBA Receptor W237A) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human GPBA receptor mutant W237A (NM_170699). The GPBA receptor responds to bile acids and plays a key role in various physiological processes such as metabolic regulation, energy homeostasis, and immune responses. The W237A mutation involves the substitution of tryptophan (W) at position 237 with alanine (A). This cell line can be used to study receptor pharmacology, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;

Background
The W237A mutation in the GPBA (TGR5) receptor alters its structure and potentially affects its function in bile acid signaling, metabolism, and immune responses. Research into this mutation can deepen our understanding of TGR5 biology and lead to therapeutic strategies targeting TGR5-related disorders.
