Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Human OT Receptor) Stable Cell Line which OT receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Human OT Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human OT (NM_000619.3). OT receptor plays a pivotal role in mediating the effects of oxytocin, influencing labor and birth, milk ejection, social behaviors, and emotional responses. This cell line can be used to study OT receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.

Background
The OT receptor belongs to the GPCR family and specifically binds to oxytocin, a peptide hormone. OT receptors are primarily found in the central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral tissues. In the CNS, they are located in regions such as the hypothalamus, amygdala, and brainstem. In peripheral tissues, OT receptors are found in the uterus, mammary glands, and other organs.
