Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-K1-Tg(Mouse β-Arrestin2//Mouse CB2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which CB2 receptor stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells which overexpress β-Arrestin2.
Description
CHO-K1-Tg(Mouse β-Arrestin2//Mouse CB2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor mouse CB2 (NM_004313.3) and β-Arrestin2 gene. The CB2 receptor plays a significant role in modulating immune function and inflammatory responses. This cell line can be used to study CB2 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.

Background
The CB2 receptor (cannabinoid receptor type 2) is one of the two main cannabinoid receptors in the endocannabinoid system, the other being the CB1 receptor. While CB1 receptors are predominantly found in the central nervous system, CB2 receptors are primarily expressed in the peripheral tissues, especially in immune cells. They play a significant role in modulating immune function and inflammatory responses.
