Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Mouse NK3 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which NK3 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Mouse NK3 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor mouse NK3 (NM_021382.6). NK3 receptor plays a significant role in neurokinin B-mediated signaling pathways involved in reproductive functions, pain modulation, gastrointestinal motility, and potentially psychiatric disorders. This cell line can be used to study NK3 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;

Background
The NK3 receptor is classified as a GPCR and specifically as a receptor for the neuropeptide neurokinin B (NKB), which is a member of the tachykinin family. NK3 receptors are widely distributed in the central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral tissues. In the CNS, they are found in regions such as the hypothalamus, amygdala, thalamus, and spinal cord. They are also present in peripheral tissues, including the gastrointestinal tract and reproductive organs.
