Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HEK293T-Tg(Human RXFP2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line which RXFP2 receptor stably expressed in HEK293T cells.
Description
HEK293T-Tg(Human RXFP2 Receptor) Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor human RXFP2 (NM_021634). The RXFP2 receptor is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family that responds to relaxin family peptides, particularly relaxin-3. This cell line can be used to study RXFP2 receptor function, signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Features
Minimally modified GPCRs directly selected in functional assays;
Strict quality control;
Parental and orthologous cell lines are available.

Background
RXFP2 was identified and cloned as a receptor for relaxin-3 in the early 2000s. It belongs to the same receptor family as RXFP1, which responds to relaxin-1 and relaxin-2 (H2 relaxin), but RXFP2 has a distinct ligand preference for relaxin-3. RXFP2 receptors are expressed in various tissues throughout the body, including the brain (particularly in regions such as the hypothalamus and cortex), reproductive organs (testes), and adrenal glands. This distribution reflects its roles in both central nervous system functions and reproductive physiology.
