Introduction to Cancer Imaging
New cancer imaging techniques have proven their significant role in cancer diagnosis and determining potential responses to cancer drugs. Currently, based on powerful cancer imaging technology, Creative Biolabs can detect various cancer types and monitor cancer cells in a real-time manner. We have generated a wide variety of tumor contrast imaging platforms that have the advantages of high stability, low background, and absolute quantification of tumor markers, enabling multimodal imaging.
For example, contrast-enhanced ultrasound tumor imaging, as a system commonly used in our labs, can monitor the concentration of substances related to tumor angiogenesis in a non-invasive way. Moreover, by combining molecular-targeted exogenous contrast agents with antibodies or peptides, we can provide information about the tumor structure and its molecules, thus achieving morphological and functional imaging.

Ultrasound in oncology
Tumor contrast imaging technology plays an important role in the evaluation of focal pathology in other organs. Nowadays, ultrasound imaging is mostly used for brain tumor analysis due to its advantages of being non-invasive, cost-effective, portable, and real-time. With our continuous research in ultrasonic imaging, the existing platform can achieve high-resolution and fast imaging in both spatial and temporal directions. Moreover, the emergence of our super ultrasound imaging technology enables the imaging frame rate to reach tens of thousands of Hertz, which can be used for the detection of low speed and weak blood flow in brain tumor models. In a recent study, we visualized changes in CBV across the brain/spinal cord and successfully characterized the functional activity of brain/spinal cord neurons. Also, by using ultrasound imaging techniques to reconstruct the fine structure of the microvascular network, we can accurately derive important tumor functional parameters to help diagnose and distinguish different malignant tumor types.
In addition, Creative Biolabs has also developed a photoacoustic/ultrasonic dual-mode imaging technology platform, which can not only realize the multi-angle, multi-parameter, and molecular level of tumor structure and function comprehensive feature information extraction but also make up for the limitations and shortcomings of a single ultrasound imaging mode, to improve the accuracy of early tumor detection.

In the past few decades, numerous researches have been conducted to study the mechanism of tumor diagnosis and prognosis through multimodal contrast imaging. As a result, Creative Biolabs has generated a tumor contrast-enhanced ultrasound analysis platform to offer the most diverse portfolio of imaging solutions for worldwide customers. In our labs, according to the perfusion and penetration of the microvascular system of different tumor tissue, a range of continuous and rapid contrast-enhanced ultrasound technologies and equipment have been used to obtain images, and combined with semi-quantitative and quantitative analysis, the microscopic conditions of the lesions will be further analyzed from the perspective of microcirculation, and then the characteristics of the tumor will be finally evaluated.
Furthermore, we are committed to using artificial intelligence (AI) to extract high-throughput features from imaging images for tumor diagnosis, representation, and predictive analysis.
