Cytokine Production Measurement Service
Based on our advanced Cytokine Production Measurement Service and powerful technology, Creative Biolabs provides a complete range portfolio of assays for the production measurement of cytokines to meet our customers' different purposes. Our highly skilled scientists are ready to get started on your projects.
Introduction and Function of Cytokine
Cytokines are a complicated group of small signal polypeptides or glycoproteins, which have multiple effects that promote growth, differentiation, and activation of normal and cancer cells. Cytokines could exert pro- or anti-inflammatory activity and immune suppression activities, resulting in cancer cell invasion and dissemination within the tumor microenvironment. Cytokines are mainly secreted by immune cells but also by many human normal cells. As extrinsic signal mediators, cytokines regulate immune cell homeostasis and coordinate the signal-dependent immune responses, through the communication between both cells and tissues. As Fig.1 showed the Role of major cytokines (for example, IL4, IL10, IL13, IL2, IFNγ, and TGF-β) in the tumor microenvironment. The cytokine, integrated with the pleiotropic mechanisms of the immune system, could profoundly influence the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy treatment. It is an important tool to value the immune effect of Engineered Cancer Cells with the self-destruction strategy.

Cytokine Production Measurement Services at Creative Biolabs
Dysregulated cytokines in the tumor microenvironment may promote the growth of tumors, exclusion of immune cells, and accumulation of immunosuppressive cells. Meanwhile, the heterogeneity of solid tumors and the variable changes in the concentration of cytokines make it essential to measure cytokine production to have a better understanding of them.
The production of cytokine could be measured by methods including flow cytometry (FC), enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay (ELISA), immunohistochemistry (IHC), real-time PCR, and immunofluorescence (IF). With the in-depth study of cytokine, Creative Biolabs offers advanced custom analytic service with the combination of our software and multiplex analyzers. The lab of Creative Biolabs is equipped with the automated full wavelength spectrofluorometer, fluorescence microscopes, real-time quantitative PCR instrument, and a couple of flow cytometers with multiple lasers and fluorescent channels.
Interferon (IFN) Production Measurement
The IFNs could profoundly influence the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy treatment. Creative Biolabs offers advanced custom analytic services through the combined use of our software and multiplex analyzers.
Interleukin (IL) Production Measurement
Interleukins (ILs) are one kind of the most widely studied cytokines. ILs serve as key signaling molecules for the communication between innate and adaptive immune cells as well as non-immune cells and tissues.
Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) Production Measurement
Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) is a central and pleiotropic cytokine in inflammatory reactions. TNF has both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory effects on the development of cancers.
Transforming Growth Factor (TGF) Production Measurement
Transforming growth factor (TGF) includes two distinct classes of growth factors, TGF-α and TGF-β. The production of TGF could be measured with thoughtful and thorough services offered by Creative Biolabs.
Our experienced experts at Creative Biolabs will complete your fitness for the cytokine production measurement you needed. If you are interested in this, please feel free to contact us directly.
