Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers C57BL/6 Mouse Bone Marrow Cells for phenotyping and characterizing stem cells.
Description
C57BL/6 mouse bone marrow cells refer to cells that come from the bone marrow of C57BL/6 mice, which are a common strain of laboratory mice. This cell can be used for research purposes, such as studying the immune system, hematopoiesis (the formation of blood cells), and the development of blood-related diseases. These cells can also be used to study gene expression, differentiation, and cell signaling pathways in various experimental settings.
Species character
The C57BL/6 mouse is the most commonly-used inbred mouse strain available and is employed in numerous research areas, including immunology, genetics, diabetes and obesity, neurobiology, cardiovascular biology, and developmental biology. They are routinely used as the background strain for generation of congenics carrying modified genes and/or transgenes. These mice carry the H-2b haplotype and their immune cells are commonly used in immune-based assays.
Background
BMCs have multiple utility for transplantation as they support stem and progenitor cells and may differentiate into a number of cell types. BMCs including MSCs and HSCs have a high potential for differentiation into liver cells.
