Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers DBA/2 Mouse Splenocytes for a wide variety of immunology-based applications.
Description
DBA/2 mouse splenocytes are immune cells derived from the spleen of DBA/2 mice, which is a common inbred strain of laboratory mice. DBA/2 mouse splenocytes are commonly used in research to study immune responses, inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and the efficacy of vaccines or immunotherapies.
Species character
The DBA/2 mouse is a widely-used inbred mouse strain to study cardiovascular biology, neurobiology, and immunology. Often contrasted to the C57BL/6 mouse, the DBA/2 mouse carries the H-2d haplotype and their immune cells are routinely used in immune-based assays.
Background
A splenocyte can be any one of the different white blood cell types as long as it is situated in the spleen or purified from splenic tissue. Splenocytes consist of a variety of cell populations such as T and B lymphocytes, dendritic cells and macrophages, which have different immune functions.
