Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CD1 Mouse Bone Marrow Cells for phenotyping and characterizing stem cells.
Description
CD1 mice are a specific strain of laboratory mice commonly used in research. Bone marrow cells from CD1 mice can be isolated and used in various experiments, such as studying hematopoiesis, immune responses, and cell differentiation. These cells can also be used to generate various types of immune cells, such as macrophages and dendritic cells, for further research purposes.
Species character
The CD1 mouse is a commonly-used outbred strain for general multipurpose studies, but has also been extensively studied in oncology, toxicology, aging, and immunology. Because they are outbred, the genetic profile of these mice is unknown.
Background
BMCs have multiple utility for transplantation as they support stem and progenitor cells and may differentiate into a number of cell types. BMCs including MSCs and HSCs have a high potential for differentiation into liver cells.
